There's a Calamity Jane singalong happening in the city centre this weekend

There's a Calamity Jane sing-along happening at this city centre cinema.. And they're taking you to the Wild Wild West.

Starring Doris Day as the titular gun-toting, whip-cracking whirlwind set in Dakota's male-dominated Deadwood city, the classic Golden Age musical is being screened at the GFT on Sunday, January 12.

It includes sing-along subtitles so you can sing along to the Oscar-winning numbers to your heart's content.. Even if you're tone deaf.

Calamity’s grandstanding gets her in trouble when she promises to save the reputation of the local saloon by recruiting a beautiful singer all the way from the grand theatres of Chicago.

The town’s latest arrival brings new life to Deadwood, but threatens disaster for Calamity when she catches the eye of Wild Bill Hickok, and Jane’s sweetheart, Lieutenant Danny Gilmartin.

Tickets are £8 for students and £11  full price and they can be purchased HERE . Follow the event page on Facebook .
