There is a Thanos-themed Avengers Easter Egg on Google

Avengers Endgame is on track to be the first film to make a $1billion in a week, no small feat.

But hardly surprising considering three of the UK's biggest cinema chains' websites all crashed on the day advanced tickets went on sale due to high demand.

If you turn to social media, which if you're trying to avoid spoilers we strongly advise against, you would be forgiven for thinking Marvel's latest film has taken over all corners of the internet.

And you wouldn't be far wrong, as not only are millions talking about seeing it, or having seen it, even Google are getting in on the action.

Known for their love of Easter Eggs the search engine has a surprise for anyone Googling Thanos, if they click on the small picture of his gauntlet on the right hand-side.

Google is known for its Easter Eggs - which are intentional inside jokes - and is known to add new ones all the time.

Some of the more well-known examples are searching 'askew', 'do a barrell roll' and 'anagram'.

There are also games which appear if you Google 'Play Snake', 'Solitaire' or 'Text Game'.
