Hold on to your bunny ears because from today (April 8) there is a huge Easter egg hunt taking place in Edinburgh with a £500 gift card prize up for grabs.
Organised by Essential Edinburgh, people living, working and visiting Edinburgh can hunt for the 'golden egg', worth a £500 Edinburgh Gift Card that is valid in over 90 businesses across the city.
The egg is said to be hidden in an outdoor location in the city centre; if you spot the golden egg, all you have to do is snap a picture and share it on social media, tagging @EdinCityCentre to be in with a chance of winning.
A further nine eggs have been hidden in businesses across the city centre , ranging from food and drink to fashion. All you need to do is simply find the secret egg, and say the word hidden in the design at the till to win.
Teasers of where each of the eggs are hidden are being shared on Essential Edinburgh’s social channels (@EdinCityCentre).
Roddy Smith, Chief Executive of Essential Edinburgh said: "Our Easter Egg Hunt is set to be a real cracker. Our special Easter Eggs have been hidden across the city centre and the variety on offer – from a £500 golden egg, to discounts and prizes from a range of great businesses – truly shows how exciting the city centre is.
