Candace Owens explains why she delayed releasing Charlie Kirk evidence
In a newly released video, Owens said the decision to hold back information came after discussions with Baron Coleman. While she initially wanted to wait longer before making anything public, she said Coleman convinced her that the timing had changed.
She explained that the unreleased material could encourage additional witnesses to come forward and help clarify what happened. At the same time, Owens argued that keeping the evidence private gave her an opportunity to observe how different people publicly described the events.
She said:
"I spoke with Baron Coleman yesterday evening and he convinced me that some evidence that he knew that I had positively needed to be shared before we went away for two weeks. He gave me his reasons as to why it was so significant and I rebutted about the timing. He obviously knew why we wanted to hold on to it but I ultimately concluded that Baron Coleman was right."
