There's a haggis burger smothered in cheese being served in honour of Burns Night

Feeling hungry? And patriotic? Well then, we have just the thing...

Glasgow's cult burger creators are rustling up the ultimate treat in time for Burns Night - and we can't wait to try it.

It's a wee, sleekit, cowrin, tim'rous burger, named the Ode to a Haggis in honour of the National Bard himself.

The meaty concoction is begins with - what else - a bit o' haggis and is topped with double smash patties, marrow butter, caramelised onions and smoked cheddar.

Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face - we reckon you'll need a lie down after this one. Are you up for the challenge this Burns night?

It will be available at both Finnieston and Woodlands from Sunday 19th - Saturday 25th Jan, so run don't walk, folks.

Oh would some power the giftie gie us... a haggis burger!

In other words, feel free to send a few to Glasgow Live HQ if you are buying. It's what Rabbie would want...

Gie her a Haggis!
