Therabody has placed its new LED face mask into a London cab so that you can glow on the go

Therabody, the purveyors of innovative, science-led wellness technologies designed to enhance performance and recovery, improve sleep quality, revitalise skin health and more, has this week revealed its new TheraFace LED Mask Glo.

While the brand is perhaps best known for their superlative massage guns, which call on powerful percussive massage to knead out the knots and niggles that show up when muscles are overworked, it has more recently turned its hand to the beauty sphere with offerings such as the TheraFace PRO which combines microcurrent, LED Light Therapy, massage and cleansing powers.

How does the new mask work?

The brand new device incorporates 504 red, red-plus-infrared and blue LED lights to visibly improve overall skin health. Additional highlights of the mask include full-face coverage — even around hard-to-reach areas such as the eyes and mouth — and a cordless design for convenient hands-free sessions. Perfect for those who need to cook dinner, tend to the garden, or entertain errant children while beautifying. Vibration technology meanwhile, incorporated into the mask’s head strap for enhanced relaxation, is a bonus for those who needn’t multitask and are free to recline.

What you can expect

As with most at-home tech, which tends to be less potent than in-clinic counterparts for safety reasons, commitment and regular use are key. But incorporated into your routine for just 12 minutes daily, the mask is clinically proven to minimise fine lines and sagging skin, while working on boosting radiance, for healthier, happier, far glowier skin.

Glo around town (Glo around town)

Book the glo on the go cab

From tomorrow, Therabody is placing the new mask in its very own London cab, transforming it into a mobile Glo on the Go clinic, so that punters can try a 12-minute treatment with the mask while whizzing wherever it is that they need to be. Rides are complimentary, and you’ll find the pickup point at the corner of Old Cavendish Street and Henrietta Place, W1.
