Theodore Boone: The Fugitive by John Grisham – review

Theodore Boone is back with a bang. On a trip to Washington DC with the 8th Grade, Theodore Boone notices the most wanted man in Strattenburg on the tube with him, the murderer Pete Duffy.

Theodore Boone: The Fugitive is the fifth book in the highly recommended Theodore Boone series based on an aspiring lawyer causing mischief and winning cases at 13 years old. John Grisham writes an funny yet informative book that is suitable for all ages. It is enjoyable and doesn’t shy away from hard hitting topics.

The main character is very relatable, Theodore is a nosy kid with a intrusive mind but also incredibly kind and wants to help every person he can. He dedicates lots of his time to sorting out his friends problems but also has time to have stereotypical teenager strops when his parents say no to something. It is fast-paced and you never want to put this book down; it entices you into reading more and more.
