Theft at Dublin bank sparks garda investigation

Dublin

Gardai are investigating a theft that occurred at a bank in Dublin city centre.

Emergency services were alerted to the theft at the AIB branch on Dame Street. The incident happened at around 2.30pm on Tuesday, August 16.

An investigation is currently under way, a garda spokesman told Dublin Live. They said: "Gardai at Pearse Street are investigating a theft at a commercial premises that occurred at approximately 2:30pm on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, on Dame Street, Dublin 2."
