SCG Muang Thong United have agreed the terms of a one-year loan contract for their left wing back Theerathon Bunmathan with J1-League side Yokohama F Marinos.
Theerathon is currently playing for Thailand in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup in the United Arab Emirates.
Yokohama finished last season in 12th place in the league standings and are hoping to improve their ranking by signing the Thai star.
Theerathon played for Vissel Kobe in Japan's top flight last year on a one-year deal which expired at the end of the season last month.
The 29-year-old Theerathon returned to Muang Thong United but received interest from Yokohama.
"We are delighted to announce that we have signed a loan deal with Theerathon of Muang Thong United. The deal is pending a physical fitness check-up," Yokohama stated on their website.

Muang Thong United director Ronnarit Suewaja travelled to Japan to negotiate and finalise the contract with Yokohama chairman Ryoji Kurosawa.
The J1-League team are waiting for the Thai player's return from the Asian Cup, which ends on Feb 1.
"I am incredibly happy to join Yokohama F Marinos. I promise that I will work hard in every match, perform to the best of my ability and contribute to the team as much as I can. I cannot wait to play in front of supporters of Yokohama," said Theerathon.
Yokohama also have a new head coach in Ange Postecoglou, the former boss of the Australian national team.
Meanwhile, the new season of the Thai League 1 will kick off on Feb 20 with Ratchaburi Mitr Phol FC taking on newcomers Trat.
Champions Buriram United will take on Chonburi the following day.
