The Zombia 3000 Survivor tackles Halloween nightmares head-on

THIS is the Zombia 3000 Survivor – a zombie-proof car dreamed up just in time for Halloween.

Created by UK car dealer JCT600, it’s full of modifications you definitely won’t find in even the most high-spec 4x4.

The Zombia 3000 is inspired by the new Land Rover Defender but has a number of features to tackle the nightmare of a landscape infested by the living dead.

These include a fearsome plough to, er, plough through zombie crowds at speed, while bullet-proof windows are further protected by reinforced metal bars.

Mounted on the roof are dual wide-angle flamethrowers, machine gun turret and a drone launcher, so you can check out the route ahead.

Inside, forget about an all-singing, all-dancing infotainment system. It’s been replaced with a CB radio for communicaiton with other survivors.

There’s also a computer console complete with advanced GPS functionality and gene-sequencing software, for when the responsibility of finding a cure inevitably falls to someone as desperately unqualified as you.

And, as a back-up, there’s also plenty of Ordnance Survey maps. The Zombia 3000 also comes well equipped with handheld weapons and ammunition, a range of tools, medicines, water, food and fuel supplies to give you the best possible start as you embark on your dystopian road trip.

Powered by an eight-cylinder 4.7-litre engine developing a healthy 466bhp, this two-tonne post apocalypse vehicle can sprint to 60mph in 6.6 seconds and redlines at 166mph.

Along with the four-wheel-drive capability, that should be good enough to get you out of a sticky situation.

So there’s no need to have nightmares… except, of course, the Zombia 3000 is purely fictional and not available to buy.

You can find out more at this blog about the vehicle and this sales listing. Happy Halloween!
