We’re bringing the years together in Buck of the Week.

Noah Johandes, 10, harvested his first buck with a crossbow and a perfect 15-yard shot in early November in Iroquois County.

“He also killed a jake this year in Michigan, so he’s having a great year!” his proud parents, Tim and Missy, emailed.

On opening day in Wisconsin last month, Dan Filipek of Mount Prospect shot an eight-point buck.

“I am hoping to make Buck of the Week at age 72,” he emailed.
