Last Wednesday, with Sharon Osbourne, Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger all ready to go for the arena auditions in Wembley, Louis was still in his hotel, forcing the producers to go ahead with an empty seat on the panel. It would never have happened in Simon Cowell's day.
