Fans of a good snarler or bockwurst are in for a treat with the news that the world's biggest sausage party is coming to Glasgow in May.
Glasgow Sausage and Cider festival will land in the city, with event organisers promising everything from live bands and DJs, craft cider, a gin bar, eating contests, games and craft beer.
The 18+ event, which celebrates "the different tastes of sausage from around the world and also the different flavours of ciders that are around" will take place on Saturday, May 23.
As yet no venue has been confirmed for the event, but one will be announced soon according to organisers.
The festival is part of a UK wide national touring event which will stop off in the next while in cities such as Cardiff, Southampton, Manchester and Nottingham.
