'The world during the COVID-19 crisis: Cooperation and competition' to be Yomiuri Intl Forum theme

The Yomiuri International Economic Society (YIES) and The Yomiuri Shimbun have chosen "The world during the COVID-19 crisis: Cooperation and competition" as the theme for the 2021 Yomiuri International Forum, which is jointly organized by the two entities.

There is no prospect in sight for containing the novel coronavirus pandemic. Divisions and confrontations are becoming increasingly perilous. How can we overcome such global challenges to reconstruct the world order? The Yomiuri International Forum will explore these issues in a series of sessions with experts beginning in the spring.
