With the warmer weather back and out in full force, our thoughts naturally turn to places to go and things to do.
And of course, getting outside with the family or friends or even for just a wander with the pup is foremost in mind.
But where do you go? The beach for a meander in the sunshine? Or perhaps a wee woodland walk with shade and sunshine in equal measure? Well, why not go for both?
At Boden Boo, which lies just over 20 minutes' drive west of the city near Erskine, you'll find both stunning woodlands and a sandy beach, as well as an epic view of the Erskine Beach.
An ideal place for a family day out, or even just a romantic walk with your significant other and your favourite pooch, Boden Boo is ideal for picnics and relaxing strolls as well as bike rides for the more active among you.
Part of the Clyde Coastal, there is plenty of parking and the trails are spacious and varied, and the woodland eventually gives way to the sandy beach and striking views about over the famous bridge and the Kilpatrick Braes beyond.
Easy to get to, just head for the A726, and take the turn off just off the south end of the Erskine Bridge, with PA8 6AX the nearest pot code for your sat nav.
