The wonderful Swansea City player ratings as unsung hero runs riot and Man Utd starlet gets standing ovation

BEN HAMER 8

A mere spectator until he brilliantly denied Nathan Thompson in the first half. One scare in the first half aside, the goalkeeper was excellent in possession too. Yet another clean sheet.

RYAN BENNETT 8

Wonderful ball over the top in the build-up to Jake Bidwell's early opener. Did his defensive duties perfectly and continues to look good on the ball. Top display.

KYLE NAUGHTON 8

Read play so well on numerous occasions, with Naughton making interceptions for fun. Such a composed display from the experienced defender.

RYAN MANNING 8

Made his fair share of tackles and was a threat further up the pitch too. The Irishman has well and truly established himself as a key cog under Russell Martin.

ETHAN LAIRD 8

Put the ball on a plate for Bidwell to open the scoring and was a constant thorn in Peterborough's side. Subbed to a standing ovation.

KOREY SMITH 8

One of his best displays in a Swansea shirt. In a deep-lying role, the 30-year-old marshalled the back three brilliantly and regularly got his side back on the front foot.

MATT GRIMES 8

The captain passed Peterborough off the park. He gave those ahead of him a real platform to cause damage.

JAKE BIDWELL - Star Man 8

In the right place to notch his second goal of the campaign inside two minutes, and that strike gave Bidwell an enormous confidence boost. He ran riot on the left flank in the first half. Very solid in the second half too.

OLIVIER NTCHAM 8

The Frenchman looked so composed on the ball and gave fans yet another strong glimpse of just how exciting he could be in this division when fully fit. Took his goal so well before being withdrawn in the second half as he continues to work his way up to full fitness.

JAMIE PATERSON 8

Always involved in the Peterborough half and was happy to drop deep to impact proceedings too.

JOEL PIROE 8

What more can you say about the Dutchman? Yet another fine finish to make it 2-0 and his pass for Ntcham was exquisite too. Given a breather in the second half ahead of back-to-back away games.

Subs

Michael Obafemi (for Piroe) - Tested David Cornell shortly after coming on and had another chance soon after. Encouraging to see him get into good positions. 6

Flynn Downes (for Obafemi) - Dropped in deep to help Swansea see out the game. 6

Morgan Whittaker (for Laird) - Had a shot deflected over late on. 6
