The wonderful Swansea City player ratings as substitutes make sensational impact in West Brom win

STEVEN BENDA 8

On his 24th birthday, the German made a fine save to deny Grady Diangana after surviving a scare following a scuffed clearance. Distribution wasn't the best and was helpless for the two West Brom goals, but produced a fine penalty save with his legs.

NATHAN WOOD 8

Made some timely interceptions and remained fully committed to Russell Martin's methods. Brave throughout.

KYLE NAUGHTON 6

Survived a nervy moment early on and a few sloppy passes gave West Brom some momentum. Played through a shoulder problem and stuck to his usual methods. Good in the air and made stacks of clearances.

BEN CABANGO 8

A force in the air and made his share of meaty tackles, earning chants of "Ben Cabango's magic" from the Jack Army. Another excellent display.

MATTY SORINOLA 8 - Star Man

Played with confidence from the outset and, after being denied by David Button from close range, the Union SG loanee nodded home his first Swansea goal from a corner. Looked very lively in attack but tracked back well as West Brom improved. Improving all the time.

JAY FULTON 7

Good on the ball in the middle of the park and did plenty of defensive work too. Subbed.

MATT GRIMES 8

The 60th consecutive occasion for the captain to play every minute of a Championship match. Had to work immensely hard in midfield and put a fine shift in.

RYAN MANNING 8

As with Sorinola, the Irishman started very well and was pivotal to his side's best attacking play. Got the assist for his fellow wing-back's opener from a corner too. Good game management at the end.

LUKE CUNDLE 7

Lively early on and was both productive and accurate in possession, although he had to do more work off the ball as the first-half wore on. Withdrawn.

OLLIE COOPER 7

As with Cundle, Cooper got into some dangerous areas but didn't see enough of the ball after Swansea went ahead. Replaced.

JOEL PIROE 7

The Dutchman oozed class early on and was unfortunate to head wide in the first-half. Found himself on the periphery after that as the Baggies went in search of an equaliser. Defended well from the front as ever.

Subs

Michael Obafemi (for Cundle) - What an impact. So composed to rifle home the winner. 7

Olivier Ntcham (for Fulton) - Sensational impact. A fine goal and got the assist for Obafemi. 8

Armstrong Oko-Flex (for Cooper) - Gave away the penalty but worked hard and played a part in Swansea's improvement in the final third. 6

Joel Latibeaudiere (for Sorinola) - Helped Swansea see out the game. 6
