The woman on TV who was fuming over the brutal elbow on Aaron Wainwright as players' families horrified by incident

It's safe to say pretty much anyone watching Wales vs France today would have been left open-jawed by the red card incident which saw Aaron Wainwright elbowed in the head.

The 49th-minute act of violence saw French second row Sebastien Vahaamahina blatantly elbow the young Dragons star in the head during a maul after the French lock released his grip.

When the incident was scrutinised, referee Jaco Peyper had no hesitation in giving him his marching orders.

It was a sight that sent shockwaves around Oita Stadium, where fans could be heard sharing a collective gasp.

And the emotion was no different in the Wales family section of the stadium, too, where players' partners, parents and friends watched on.

Moments after the brutal elbow, TV cameras panned to the stand where family were sat, where some of Wales' players' partners looked horrified.

One in particular, Georgia Davies - Josh Adams' partner - gets up from her seat and appears to be calling for the referee to take action.

Many of the players' partners, parents and families have travelled out to Japan already to watch their loved ones in action, where players have been allowed to spend plenty of quality time with their family in a family-first environment Warren Gatland is known to be an advocate of.

In their downtime while Wales are in training, some of the players' partners have been getting together to travel around the country and take in what it has to offer.
