The news that Alim Ozturk's red card has been overturned is a bitter-sweet moment for Sunderland fans.
For while most fans are delighted the Turkish defender will be available for the League One play-off second leg with Portsmouth on Thursday night, many have pointed out that his dismissal denied the Black Cats the chance to push for a second goal on Saturday night.
Ozturk was dismissed for a challenge on Portsmouth’s Gareth Evans, though the defender appeared to have won the ball.
