James Bond and Little Britain star Vincent Marzello dies at 68

James Bond and Little Britain star Vincent Marzello has died aged 68.

The actor's heartbroken wife Lorelei King confirmed the sad news on social media today.

She wrote:"The love of my life, my darling husband Vincent Marzello, died this morning.

"To those who knew him, I am sorry to post the news rather than contact you personally, but I am overwhelmed.

"My heart is broken."

No more details about his death have been confirmed.

King previously revealed her husband had been battling both cancer and dementia.

During a chat with charity Dementia UK, she explained: "Thinking that the person I loved most in the world might be in pain with no way to relieve it, or that he might not be getting essential medication, took a toll on me emotional.

"I felt so helpless."

He played Luke's father in 1990 movie The Witches.

Born in New York, his first role was in an episode of 1972 TV show The Brothers.

Marzello's film career also included roles in James Bond movies The Spy Who Loved Me and Never Say Never Again and Superman.

He racked up TV credits with parts in shows including Taggart, The House of Eliott, Dalziel and Pascoe and Little Britain.

In his later years, he lived in the UK with his actress wife King.
