The whole family can try out paddle boarding at Portobello Beach this Sunday

Looking for something different to do with the kids locally this weekend?

Paddle boarding is one of the world's fastest growing water sports, according to Stand Up Paddle Board Scotland.

Now it's your chance to pull on your wet suit as the Edinburgh-based company will be popping up at Portobello Beach this Sunday (7 July).

They offer fun sessions with instructors, where you will learn techniques that will have you standing up on the board in no time - but be prepared to get wet.

The fun-filled summer activity is ideal for the whole family, with all ages and abilities welcome to come along and give it a go (whatever the weather).

The sessions will take place from: 1-2.30pm,3p-4.30pm and 5-6.30pm.

To book, email: info@standuppaddleboardscotland.com - it costs £25 for adults and £20 for children. The price includes the equipment.
