The Who announce 2020 UK tour: How to get tickets for their Wembley show

The Who have announced a UK arena tour with a full orchestra for 2020, culminating with a huge show in the capital.

The legendary rockers — who are set to release WHO, their first album in 13 years, this November — will embark on a 10-date tour next year, finishing with a show at the SSE Arena on April 8.

They will also play concerts in Manchester, Dublin, Liverpool, Glasgow and beyond.

The SSE Arena date will be their first show back in the capital since they sold out Wembley Stadium in July this year, which also saw them play alongside an orchestra.

The Who have so far released one song from their forthcoming album. You can listen to the track, called Ball and Chain, below.

Speaking about the upcoming release, singer Roger Daltrey said: “I think we’ve made our best album since Quadrophenia in 1973.

“[Guitarist] Pete [Townshend] hasn’t lost it, he’s still a fabulous songwriter, and he’s still got that cutting edge.”
