The White House served the Baylor women’s basketball team more reheated fast food

Back when the Clemson Tigers visited the White House, President Donald Trump claimed that the government shutdown made it necessary for the team to be served an array of room-temperature fast food.

Since then, though, more championship teams have received that same substandard meal well after the government shutdown ended.

On Monday, it was the national champion Baylor women’s basketball team’s turn to have their White House visit include fast food from Chick-fil-A, Wendy’s, Burger King and McDonald’s.

This time, the White House traded in the silver platters for heated trays, so instead of cold fast food, the Lady Bears got reheated fast food.

At this point, it’s becoming a Trump White House tradition for college championship teams.

The Baylor Lady Bears were the first women’s championship team to visit the White House during Trump’s presidency. And for the first time as president, Trump received a basketball jersey. He commented about the sleeves (and his arms).
