The Wheel's Carol Vorderman's savage dig at Paul Hollywood

Carol Vorderman made a savage dig at Paul Hollywood during tonight's episode of The Wheel.

Carol, 59, took part in the popular BBC1 show tonight and made a harsh comment about the Great British Bake Off judge.

Contestant Sean from Glasgow was asked the question "Blind baking is a technique that might be used when making which of these baked goods?"

The Wheel landed on Gemma Collins who tried her best and told him the answer was a Bakewell tart.

Sean agreed with her and said when he'd watched Bake Off he's seen contestants use the method.

But Gemma confessed: "I'm glad you watched, I can't take my eyes off Paul Hollywood."

Gemma then turned to Carol and said: "Carol he'd be one for you him, I think you'd make a nice couple."

However Carol was quick to jump in and said: "No, he's far too old for me." despite the Wirral baker actually being five years younger than her at 54.

And viewers were quick to comment on the dig.
