Oladapo Afolayan is enjoying the partnership he has formed with Declan John on the left flank for Bolton Wanderers which the West Ham United loanee feels is only going to improve.
West Ham forward Afolayan and Swansea City left-back John joined Bolton in the January transfer window on loan from their respective parent clubs.
Both have gone on to cement starting places in Ian Evatt's side and become first choice selections, with John playing at left-back and Afolayan playing across the attack, but mostly on the left wing.
John has scored twice since joining Bolton and, though Afolayan is yet to find the back of the net for Wanderers, he has grabbed two assists and been a key part of Bolton's attack, also tracking back to help with the defensive side of the game too.
Afolayan himself believes he can have an impact going forward whether he says out wide or drifts inside to cause problems to opposition defences.
And he has spoke in glowing terms of his partnership with Swans defender John, and feels their partnership down the left flank is only going to get better with every game they play.
He told the club's YouTube channel: "I really enjoy it because it's something different for the defenders to deal with because they don't know what I'm going to do.
"Whether I'm going to stay wide or drift inside and I feel like whether I drift inside or stay wide, I'm effective both ways and I'm enjoying playing down the left, especially with Dec.
"I think we're building up a good partnership down there and going forwards it can only get better.
"I get on really well with Dec. He's a good lad and a great player as well so he's easy to play with.
"I think from the Stevenage game, from then after that game I knew we'd get on well and we'd play well together.
"Each game, I feel like we're getting used to each other more and more and with more games, we're going to get even better."
