West Ham will sign Said Benrahma on a permanent deal within the next 24 hours, according to TalkSPORT.
The Hammers signed the Algerian in October but due to a 'slight medical issue,' the deal was a season-long loan before West Ham would be obliged to make the transfer permanent in the summer of 2021.
David Moyes has been pleased with the improvement in Benrahma's game recently and confirmed that the club would be 'taking Said anyway' whether that be in this window or the next.
The Hammers ran out 3-2 victors against Crystal Palace on Tuesday evening with Moyes praising Benrahma's 'pressing and commitment to the team'.
With the Hammers keen to free up a loan spot in their squad the club has been working on accelerating Benrahma's transfer and it is reported that this will now be done imminently.
The loan spot is expected to be used for bringing in Jesse Lingard from Manchester United. The attacking-midfielder is well known to Moyes having played for the manager during his short spell as boss at Old Trafford.
The 28-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at his boyhood club and is seeking to revive his career and return to the form that saw him start five of England's 2018 World Cup games.
The move for Lingard is expected to be confirmed in time for the midfielder to be named in the squad to face Liverpool on Sunday as West Ham seek to continue their perfect start to 2021.
The Hammers have won all six games so far this year, going eight unbeaten since Christmas, a run which has seen them leapfrog their opponents this weekend and move into the top four.
Moyes was not getting carried away with his team's current league position saying he was not taking 'anything for granted' but added he is 'ambitious' and wants to be challenging near the top of the league.
If Lingard is added to the squad West Ham will have further strength in depth as they aim for European football next season.
