With so many brilliant beaches in Wales, it can be hard deciding which one you want to visit.
But two Welsh beaches have been named among the best in the UK after scoring highly for things like water quality, parking, toilets, lifeguards, cafes, water quality and accessibility.
Saundersfoot and Tresaith came in the top 10 of UK beaches in research conducted by holidaycottages.co.uk, who created a 'user friendly' list of beaches which you can find here.
The Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire beaches scored highly for their water quality, the fact they have cafes and toilets, parking, watersports and lifeguarded.
Dog-friendlyness was also a factor and Wales has many dog-friendly beaches all year round.
The index was created by collating data on more than 400 beaches across England, Scotland and Wales, and ranking them on each of the individual factors listed above. The research then revealed the best overall beaches across the UK, as well as in specific regions.
Taking the crown of the UK’s best beach is Saltburn Beach in Yorkshire due to an array of facilities and Blue Flag water quality. It is closely followed by Fistral Beach in Cornwall, and Hemsby Beach in Norfolk.
