The Weeknd announces Manchester Arena show on his UK tour - how to get tickets

The Weeknd has announced a Manchester date on his UK tour.

He'll bring The After Hours Tour to Manchester Arena on October 19.

It'll be in support of his upcoming fourth studio album entitled After Hours. Due for release on March 20 it features singles Heartless and Blinding Lights.

The LP marks his first in four years and follows up 2016's Starboy which won a Grammy Award for Best Urban Contemporary Album.

He's won three Grammy Awards and has been nominated for an Oscar for his song Earned It for the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack.

Some of his biggest hits include Can't Feel My Face, The Hills, Call Out My Name and Starboy and he's collaborated with Ariana Grande, Daft Punk and Kendrick Lamar.

He'll be supported by 88GLAM and Sabrina Claudio across the UK and European tour.

It also heads to Newcastle, Birmingham, Glasgow and London in October.

They go on general sale at 9am on Friday, February 28 via ticketmaster.co.uk.
