The Warriors’ new uniforms appeared to leak ahead of their move to San Francisco

The Golden State Warriors are set to launch a new era in a new arena this season, making the jump from Oakland to the Chase Center in San Francisco.

And as part of that move, the Warriors will be getting an updated set of uniforms.

It appears that four of those uniforms have leaked well ahead of the team’s planned unveiling.

According to a post on Warriors Reddit, links from the creative portfolio service Behance and an art director who worked with Nike showed what looked to be the 2019-20 Warriors uniforms. The links were ultimately taken down, but plenty of fans grabbed screenshots.

The leaked photo showed a traditional blue jersey (with the updated Warriors font), a gold “The Bay” uniform, black “The Town” uniform and a gold “The City” set.

The Warriors Reddit page expected that the white uniform will be back in the same template as the blue set, but outside of the “‘Bay,’ ‘Town’ and ‘City'” titles (make up your mind, Warriors), these uniforms are fine. The uniforms could benefit from the addition of a “We Believe” option, though.

They seem like minor tweaks more than a complete rebranding.
