The Warriors blew a 31-point lead and everyone made the same joke

There’s something about the numbers 3 and 1 for the Golden State Warriors.

Back in 2016, the Dubs were one game away from beating the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals with a 3-1 lead. But LeBron James and Co. stormed back for three straight wins … and a meme was born: The Warriors blew a 3-1 lead.

Fast-forward to Monday night. The Warriors looked like they had another win over the Los Angeles Clippers in their opening round series, but the Clips made an epic comeback for a Game 2 victory.

What was the lead the Warriors had at one point in the game? It was 31 points. You can’t make this stuff up.
