The Wanted to play Ladies Day at Newcastle Racecourse after moving arena gig

The Wanted will be the star guests at Ladies Day in Newcastle, with news of their appearance coming weeks after they performed a moving gig at the Utilita Arena.

The boyband, who shot to fame 12 years ago with their debut number 1 All Time Low, will be the main attraction at the Ladies Day after party, when they take to the stage at Newcastle Racecourse, after the final horse has passed the post on Saturday, July 23.

Speaking about The Wanted’s reunion tour and upcoming Newcastle show for Ladies Day, band member Jay McGuiness says: “‘It was amazing to perform again for all our fans on our recent arena tour and we can’t wait to do it all over again this Summer. Newcastle has always been a real party vibe for us whenever we’ve played there so we are really looking forward to this one."

Applause and cheers sounded out around the Utilita Arena in his honour as fans showed their appreciation. Tom did make a number of the later shows on the tour, including a moving final concert in Liverpool last week.
