The Wanted's Siva Kaneswaran in tears on Loose Women and shares 'sign' from late Tom Parker

The Wanted's Siva Kaneswaran was left in tears during an appearance on Loose Women where he discussed his late bandmate Tom Parker.

Tom died aged 33 last year after battling an aggressive inoperable brain tumour for 18 months. Siva has opened up about the loss of Tom in an emotional interview where he described the late singer as his "guiding light" as it nears the one year anniversary of his death.

March marks the start of brain cancer awareness month and Siva's upcoming Dancing On Ice routine will be dedicated to his bandmate. Speaking on the show, Siva shared: "I wanted to do a tribute on Dancing On Ice but I didn't know if I'd get to.

"This weekend will be a tribute to Tom. I'm going to do Gold Forever for Tom, we did Gold Forever but it's Tom's version. I can't think straight, I'm thinking about him. We're going to do a nice dance for him. I've been very tender this week."

Siva fought back tears on the ITV daytime chat show as detailed some of the many signs from Tom. He said: "Last night I went to a Jessie J concert and she had a surprise guest. It was Claude Kelly who is this amazing singer-songwriter but he was the writer of Gold Forever."

During his time on Dancing On Ice, Siva performed an Elvis inspired routine and he said he was blown away by a revelation about the King of rock and roll. He said: "I keep on thinking Dancing On Ice are trying to stitch me up. I didn't know this but Elvis' manager was named Tom Parker. And I was like, 'are you kidding'."

Siva previously admitted the advice he knows Tom would give him if he was still around.

"When I get into a tough situation, I'm really down, or I'm in a difficult spot, I’ll be like, ‘What would Tom do?’" he recently told The Mirror.

"I get the answer I need. I use that as my guiding light. He would just be like, ‘Go for it, get on with it and do your best. All you can do is your best and leave it to fate’. I’m putting in blood, sweat and tears this week."
