Kelley Mack, best known for appearing on The Walking Dead, has died age 33 from glioma, her family has revealed.

“It is with indelible sadness that we are announcing the passing of our dear Kelley,” Mack’s sister Kathryn announced on the late star’s Instagram on Tuesday, August 5.

“Kelley has already come to many of her loved ones in the form of various butterflies 🦋 ❤️,” the post continued. “She will be missed by so many to depths that words cannot express.”

Mack’s sister added that the actress was extremely grateful for the support she received from friends and fans throughout her career.

“She would want you all to know how much she loves you,” the message read. “And as her sister, I want you all to know how brave that tough SOB was, especially when she decided to make the leap to be reunited with God. I’m so fucking proud of her.”

Mack played Hilltop Colony resident Abby in five episodes of season nine of The Walking Dead, appearing in the popular show across 2018 and 2019.

She also guest starred in 9-1-1, Chicago Med, the Modern Family spinoff Schooled, along with feature films such as Broadcast Signal Intrusion opposite Harry Shum Jr, Mr. Manhattan and the upcoming Universal.
