Danny Ward 6
Pretty solid when called upon. Made a couple of good saves too to keep the USA at bay.
Chris Gunter 7
Not a standout performance by any means, but a reasonably solid showing from the skipper, who marshalled his defence well.
Tom Lockyer 7
Rarely put a foot wrong all night. Part of a defensive performance that Rob Page will view as a big positive.
James Lawrence 7
Nothing to really take issue with from this showing. Partnered up well with Lockyer.
Connor Roberts 7
A solid performance. Defended well and contributed going forward as Wales tried to make something happen.
Matt Smith 5
Struggled against the USA's attacking stars. Lost possession far to often in the middle of the park and just couldn't stand up to a physical American midfield. Subbed.
Dylan Levitt 5
As above. Also put his side in trouble with a horrendous back pass that should have been punished. Grew into the game a little after the break. Subbed.
Rabbi Matondo 6
Made some good runs and tried desperately to make something happen, but first touch consistently let him down. Subbed.
Harry Wilson 6
Did his best to try and feed Moore, but couldn't find that killer final ball.
Tom Lawrence 6
As above. Huffed and puffed but struggled to find that moment of magic needed to make something happen.
Kieffer Moore 7 STAR MAN
Threw himself around brilliantly and caused several problems with his physicality, particularly on the deck. Ultimately starved of service, but a strong effort nonetheless. Subbed.
