The Wales team the fans have chosen to play England as Jonathan Davies, Willis Halaholo and Taulupe Faletau get nod

Wales fans want Jonathan Davies to start at centre alongside Willis Halaholo against England at Twickenham this weekend, according to the results of our poll.

We asked the Welsh public who they would prefer to see lining up in the red for the big Six Nations clash.

And those taking part in the vote have plumped for a Halaholo and Davies pairing at 12 and 13, with those two preferred to Nick Tompkins and Owen Watkin.

Davies had an impressive cameo from the bench against the Scots, while Halaholo has recovered from an eyelid laceration sustained in training last week.

Wayne Pivac officially reveals his matchday 23 on Thursday morning ahead of the away fixture on Saturday, but we already know Louis Rees-Zammit has been omitted.

Dan Biggar and Tomos Williams are the nailed on choices at half-back from those taking part in our survey, with Josh Adams preferred on the wing over the centre experiment we saw in Dublin.

He missed the Scotland match due to a calf problem but is ready to face Eddie Jones' men.

Liam Williams has been chosen at full-back and, while Rees-Zammit was the preferred choice on the other wing, Alex Cuthbert comes next in the fans' pecking order.

Wyn Jones, Ryan Elias and Tomas Francis are chosen in the front row, with Adam Beard and Will Rowlands at lock.

Another outcome from the survey sees a call for Taulupe Faletau to come straight back in at No. 8 after he was called up to the Wales squad on Monday.

Faletau has two games under his belt with Bath, after recovering from the injury sustained with the Lions which had kept him out of action for seven months.

The preferred back row trio was Faletau, Ross Moriarty at 6 and Taine Basham on the openside, with the unfortunate Jac Morgan missing out.
