The Wales team news for Uruguay match as all three scrum-halves named in matchday 23

Wales have named all three of their scrum-halves in the matchday 23 to play Uruguay.

Aled Davies starts in the number nine jersey, with Gareth Davies and Tomos Williams the only two recognised backs named on the bench.

James Davies is also on the bench and could potentially be used as backline cover.

Justin Tipuric captains the side for the first time, with hat-trick hero Josh Adams picked again on the wing after his performance against Fiji.

The verdict on the Wales team to play Uruguay

Rhys Patchell starts at number 10, and he will have Hadleigh Parkes and Owen Watkin outside him.

There are also first World Cup starts for Leigh Halfpenny, Hallam Amos, Nicky Smith, Ryan Elias, Dillon Lewis, Bradley Davies, Adam Beard and Aaron Shingler.
