Singer Craig Ward, a semi-finalist in The Voice UK 2017, will top the bill at Prestwick’s biggest ever Christmas lights switch-on this weekend.
More lights than ever before will have the town sparkling when the switch is flicked at 5pm on Sunday.
Station Road will be closed for a Christmas market and a fairground set up in Boydfield Gardens. A stage will be erected in front of the old Post Office.
A raft of entertainment will take place throughout the afternoon with Santa leaving the Ambassador Bowling Club by sleigh at 4.30pm.
