The Voice UK contestants release touching tribute song to NHS heroes

Contestants from The Voice UK including our very own Brooke Scullion have come together digitally for a cover of Stevie Wonder’s ‘As’ to spread a message of positivity and help raise money for NHS Charities Together.

Asking viewers to donate to their JustGiving Page, the contestants have shown their support for the NHS after the show was postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

Brooke, who hails from Co Derry is on Team Meghan and hailed the 'true heroes of NHS'.

She said: “Whilst we’re all eager to get back on The Voice stage for the Semi Finals, this is a great way for us to all come together from our own homes and show our support for NHS workers and all the amazing work they’re doing, they’re true heroes!”

Speaking on the current status of the The Voice’s return Brooke said she’s in constant contact with fellow finalists and production.

"They said ‘we aim to be doing the semi-final in summer’. But who knows? It could be Christmas but think of the Christmas hits you could be singing!”

The cover of ‘As’ is available  here, with the JustGiving Donation Page is here.
