The Voice season 29 announces new format and coaches

The Voice
  • The 29th season of The Voice, titled 'The Voice: Battle of Champions', is scheduled to air in spring 2026.
  • Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Adam Levine will return as judges, marking their first reunion on the show since 2016.
  • The new format includes a 'Three-Turn Competition' in auditions, where coaches compete to land singers who turn all three chairs, with the winner earning a 'Super Steal'.
  • Knockout rounds will feature an 'In-Season All-Star Competition', bringing back two fan-favorite singers from previous seasons, judged by CeeLo Green.
  • The semi-final and final weeks will introduce a new voting block composed of past singers of The Voice and super fans.
