The Voice fans claim singer 'robbed' after Olly Murs' battle decision

Olly Murs' decisions on The Voice upset some fans tonight as he dropped one of his acts in The Battles.

It was the final round of The Battles tonight, with Sir Tom Jones, Will.I.AM, Olly and Anne-Marie having to choose their final acts to take through to the first of the semi-finals next week.

Up first was Grace Holden and Chantelle Padden who sang Kelly Clarkson's 'Breakaway'.

Both smashed the song, with all coaches complimenting the two singers.

But only one could go through, and Olly was left with a difficult decision.

Choosing Grace, Olly explained he felt he could tutor and 'get more out of her' than Chantelle.

But some fans were left disappointed by his decision.

Tara tweeted: "Absolute travesty that Chantelle didn’t get through."

Ariana said: "Chantelle was robbed!"

Doreen wrote: "Wrong decision Olly Chantelle was amazing, gutted!"

Elizabeth tweeted: "They were both equally brilliant but Chantelle had a different more unique voice. There's no country singer through. Think it should've been Chantelle, someone would've stolen Grace I'm sure."

And Ryan said: "Chantelle is so genuine and has a great voice. Both singers were brilliant and that's what made it hard. I hope she comes back next year."

But other fans disagreed and felt Olly did make the correct choice.

Siobhan said: "The song seemed to come easier to Grace whereas Chantelle seemed to be forcing it a bit. But both were fantastic, hard choice for Olly. He made the right decision for me though."

Norma tweeted: "I think you have the winner right there Olly #TeamOlly. Amazing Grace!"

Alexandra said: "That was fabulous Grace."

John wrote: "A really difficult decision, but I think Grace deserved it!"

And Nick said: "Awwwww. Yay Grace is through. I’m so so happy for her. Yes Olly."
