The Vikings put Patrick Peterson on IR. What now?

Vikings CB Patrick Peterson, arguably the team’s biggest free agency signing of 2021, left the Panthers game on Sunday with an injury.

On Monday, Minnesota placed Peterson on IR. The Vikings cornerback has a hamstring injury, according to Minnesota coach Mike Zimmer.

The Vikings’ bye week comes in Week 7. During this time, Minnesota will have to assess what to do on defense without one of its best defensive players.
