Watch as Abby Hunstman is pressed five times on whether she thinks Pete Hegseth is unqualified for his role as Secretary of Defense on The View.
Hunstman, who co-hosted the ABC daytime talk show from 2018 to 2020, has briefly returned to the panel as Alyssa Farah Griffin remains on maternity leave.
In a discussion about the ongoing Iran war, the 39-year-old was repeatedly grilled by Sunny Hostin on whether she thought that Mr Hegseth was fit for the job.
“He’s a smart guy, and a perfect Fox News host,” she said as she side-stepped the question. After the fifth question, she replied: “I don't think Pete is qualified for the job.”
