The View co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin has announced the news of her first pregnancy with husband Justin Griffin.
Farah Griffin, 36, shared the news with her colleagues during Wednesday’s episode of the daytime talk show by referencing an old clip that had gone viral of Whoopi Goldberg asking if she was pregnant, which she was not at the time.
After the clip played, Farah Griffin — rubbing her growing baby bump in a reveal — turned to Goldberg and said: “So Whoopi, do you want to ask me again?”
The audience erupted in applause as each co-host embraced and congratulated Farah Griffin. “We’re having a baby!” the co-hosts cheered.
“Baby boy Griffin arrives this February,” former Trump aide-turned-TV presenter Farah Griffin said, laughing as she added: “I’m so glad to not have to hide it anymore.”
“I’m so overjoyed, and I shared with all of you that I went through IVF. It was hard, it took us about a year, it took us five rounds. But he’s here, he’s coming,” she continued.
Elaborating on the struggles of conceiving, Farah Griffin told People: “IVF, it was an emotional roller coaster. My first round wasn't bad but I got over-confident and started my second right away, and let me tell you, it's unlike anything I've experienced. You do feel somewhat out of control with your own body.”
After marrying Griffin in November 2021 — nearly a year after leaving her role as White House spokesperson and assistant to the president — the couple felt ready to try to have a family, they told the publication. But after two years, they turned to IVF, conceiving after five rounds.
During the process, Farah Griffin learned she had endometriosis, a condition in which tissue similar to that which grows inside of the uterus (the endometrium) grows outside of the uterus.

“I went undiagnosed my whole life until I started this process,” she told People. “So that just added to the complications.”
During her on-air announcement, Farah Griffin, who joined Thew View permanently in 2022, shouted out her “supportive” husband, who was in attendance during Wednesday’s episode.
“I couldn’t be happier,” Griffin told the co-hosts. “This is a big moment for our family, and growing family I should say.”
Farah Griffin shared her excitement to become a boy mom, noting that her colleagues at The View will help balance out the soon-to-be all-boy dynamic at home.
“I grew up with sisters, and I've always liked the idea of a big brother looking out for the younger siblings (because we both want two kids),” she told People.
“They say anything worth doing is hard. Well, all of the struggle feels so in the rear view mirror now that we're here,” she added. “We're just so excited for everything ahead.”
