The video which shows why Jeremy Corbyn is winning in the Labour leadership race

There's talk of civil war, the death of the party and even Tony Blair's having to get involved to clear up "the mess:" the rise of left-wing leadership Jeremy Corbyn has sent shivers down the spine of the Labour establishment, the belief being that he will be a disaster for the party.

With a YouGov poll putting Mr Corbyn at the top of the pack of four, party figures have been clambering to change members' minds. The former Prime Minister said that people whose hearts were with the Islington MP should "get a transplant" while Mr Blair's former aide, John McTernan, called on part members to vote for anyone but Corbyn.

But why is Mr Corbyn winning over Labour party members? This question from the LBC debate shows exactly why the Islington MP is so much better than his rivals, Andy Burnham, Yvette Cooper and Liz Kendall.

All four candidates were asked the question: Would Ed Miliband feature in your shadow cabinet if you were elected leader?

Which one gave a straight answer, while the others submitted a vague respond?

The first methodic poll of the Labour leadership campaign earlier this week found that Mr Corbyn was on course to win the contest.

43 per cent of Labour supporters and members polled by YouGov for The Times said they would vote for Mr Corbyn in the first round of the contest.

Andy Burnham was in second place with 26 per cent, with Yvette Cooper third on 20 percent. Liz Kendall polled 11 per cent.

In the final round of voting Mr Corbyn would beat Mr Burnham by 53 per cent to 47 per cent.
