The Philadelphia Phillies thumped the Miami Marlins, 7-1, on Wednesday night to wrap up their NL Wild Card Series and set a date with the Braves in the NL Division Series, which starts Saturday in Atlanta.
Aaron Nola pitched seven shutout innings for the Phillies, who won both games at home to sweep the Marlins.
The biggest offensive moment of the night came in the bottom of the sixth inning when Bryson Stott hit a grand slam to right center that broke the game open and sent the home crowd into hysterics.
