It's often said that it's the place that boasts the best views of Newcastle and you can see for yourself this weekend as The Vermont's roof top bar is open to the public.
The top floor sun trap - officially known as the Sky Garden - is a place that needs to be experienced to be believed. As the sun shone down on Newcastle on Good Friday, you could see all over the city from one of its best vantage points.
If it wasn't for spotting the Tyne Bridge and spotting other Tyneside landmarks like the Baltic and the Sage, we'd have thought we were abroad.
The Sky Garden's bar, stylish decor and plush seating areas have a very Marbella/Ibiza feel to them and the people who snapped up tickets to have drinks on it for Good Friday have got incredibly lucky with the weather!

The Vermont Hotel, which has just opened its The Maven restaurant opens at The Vermont in Newcastle with high end decor and a huge menu in time for Easter, is opening the Sky Garden to the public every Bank Holiday weekend this year.
