The utterly outrageous offload that saw New Zealand score the try of the Rugby World Cup

Everyone knows just how good New Zealand are,  but even by their lofty standards they really turned on the style in thumping Namibia 71-9 on Sunday.

The Pool B clash was rounded off with what pundits are dubbing the greatest try of the World Cup to date.

The move was rounded off in the corner by TJ Perenara, but it was the scoring pass to him that had ITV commentators drooling with the words 'Oh, the circus has come to town!'.

Fellow replacement Brad Webber takes a pass from Rieko Ioane, and then produces an utterly outrageous offload out of the back of his hand to bamboozle the Namibian defence and enable Perenara to race over.

You can watch the dazzling moment for yourself here.

Back in the studio, ITV pundits were also gushing at the incredible piece of skill by Webber, saying 'Close the try of the tournament competition.'

Former Wales and Lions skipper Sam Warburton said the Kiwis spend so much time on their handling skills and passing is the type of thing he would teach Welsh youngsters today.

New Zealand were actually 3-0 down early on, much to the bemusement of Nambian coach Phil Davies, the former boss of Wales under-20s, the Scarlets and Cardiff Blues.

But it was the lull before the storm and New Zealand turned on the power to score 11 tries to go back top of Pool B... finishing with that offload flourish.
