The up-to-date free agents list including former Liverpool players, a Swansea City duo and some that might interest Cardiff City

The transfer window may have officially shut around Europe on Monday but there could yet be signings to come with a number of players still available on free transfers.

Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock has admitted he is looking at potentially getting a free new recruit on board to cover the injury to midfielder Marlon Pack.

The Bluebirds have spoken to a few players, but have so far been unable to agree a deal for anyone. One player is understood to have wanted £30,000 a week and a two-year deal - something Cardiff are unwilling to do.

Swansea are highly unlikely to consider such options as they sit top of the Championship.

Clubs can still sign free agents throughout the course of the year, as long as they were not registered to a club at the start of the season.

From highly-experienced internationals to title-winning talents, free agents provide an opportunity for new faces to be brought into a club without having to take a risk with an expensive transfer fee.

Here, we have identified a selection of some of the best free agents still available to sign, alongside the side they most recently left.
