The unusual afternoon tea in Leeds with a mouthwatering twist
The typical afternoon tea usually consists of a selection of sandwiches, sweet treats and scones with clotted cream and jam.
But there's a restaurant in Leeds that has an afternoon tea that offers an Italian spin on the traditional British cream tea.
Customers have the chance to experience the ultimate taste of Italy with a selection of classic small dishes making up the menu.
On the venue's website it states there's the option for customers to choose between a selection of Italian delicacies such as mini arancini suppli or polenta and friarielli.
And for those with a sweet tooth, there is mini tiramisu or a frollino biscuit with strawberry jam on offer.#
One customer, who visited the independent restaurant in June this year was treated to an afternoon tea that included mini margarita pizza, mini rice balls, slow-cook short rib beef slider and roast potatoes and BBQ sauce.
There was also fried polenta topped with Sauteed Broccolli Friarelli to finish off the savoury selection.
The sweet selection included a generous serving of mini tiramisu, strawberry jam Italian cake, Italian chocolate cake with salted caramel and orange.
And the afternoon tea comes at a bargain price for £20 per person.
It can be topped off with a glass of Italian prosecco or you can upgrade to a signature Aperol Spritz cocktail for just £5 per person.

The happy customer left a rave reviewer on TripAdvisor, complimenting the restaurant on their delicious afternoon tea with a twist.
She wrote: "If you are looking for an Afternoon Tea with a difference then look no further than our favourite Italian restaurant in Leeds- Livin Italy.
"This is an independent restaurant in the heart of the city serving authentic Italian cuisine. The staff are amazing- attentive and really passionate about their job.
"The Afternoon Tea is a new offering since they reopened and one we highly recommend as it was absolutely delicious.
"The best thing about this for us was that it was heavier on the savouries than the sweets!"
She added: "There wasn’t a weak element to this tea, we genuinely enjoyed everything.
"Livin Italy make the best pizza dough there is, it is so soft and light, we love their takeaway pizzas. The Sliders are one of our favourite starters so we were pleased to see these on the menu.
"The polenta and rice balls were both really rich in flavour. The Tiramisu was creamy and not too heavy on the coffee. We loved the take on the traditional Jam Scone you see in Afternoon Tea with a piece of jammy cake.
"We wouldn’t hesitate to do this again, a twist on the original format, lots of savoury options, filling and a delicious menu."
