The Unthanks release their first album for four years in February, and ahead of that we’ve got this preview of Mount the Air’s title track for you. The acclaimed Geordie folk band recorded the album in their own makeshift studio in Northumberland, and have stretched out on this new record. This track sees them echoing Gil Evans and Miles Davis, circa Sketches of Spain, in a piece that’s based on the themes of a traditional one-verse Dorset folk song.
